I know you are going to say to me that this is a little bit late!
St David's Day, traditionally celebrated on the First of March, celebrates the life and work of St. David. Born around the year 500 he was a renowned preacher and founder of monastic sites, possibly founding the Abbey at Glastonbury.
He is reputed to have made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and brought back a stone which sits in St. David's Cathedral in Pembrokeshire.
We don't make a puzzle of St David but we do make lots of lovely map puzzles of Wales and also make Puzzles for one of our photographer clients, Michael Whitefoot Photography, of the beautiful St David's Cathedral.
We have also made some lovely bespoke puzzles of Bangor for Keffyn
Some other bits and pieces connected to Wales.
The Welsh Flag has a red dragon on a green and white background.
The flower is the Daffodil, but there is a linguistic link to the older national symbol, the leek, as cenhinen Bedr , the welsh for Daffodil, translates to "Peter's leek"
There are more castles per square mile than any other country in Europe.
There are Three National Parks.
Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain at 1,085 meters. Guess What. We at Grovely make a puzzle of Snowdonia! And Welsh Sheep.

Happy Puzzling Everyone!
